Director, Software Engineering

ABOUT ME

I’ve lived in upstate New York most of my life, with a few years spent in New York City while completing my undergraduate studies at Columbia University. My husband and I are both elite endurance athletes, so much of our free time is spent outdoors, training and traveling for races. When I want to slow things down a bit, I enjoy skiing, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, reading, crossword puzzles and relaxing with our four fur babies (two dogs and two cats).

MY CAREER

I’m the new kid at IAS and I’m very excited about the opportunity to learn more about the wholesale market and make an impact on our Software Engineering organization! I bring over 10 years of experience attracting and retaining talent, improving engineering processes and tooling, and partnering with product to deliver reliable, intuitive software solutions. I began working in media production in high school and pivoted to a Software Developer role in college as I studied Computer Science, primarily working on digital learning materials. I was quickly identified as a leader and discovered my passion for helping others solve problems. During this time, I pursued my Master’s Degree at Johns Hopkins University to further my skills in software engineering. I spent about 7 years leading teams at a DMS company, where I learned a lot about the automotive industry. More recently, I built up teams at a larger scale BCDR/security company where I gained a lot of technical knowledge.

FUN FACT

Of course, my fun fact has to do with bikes! Early on in the pandemic, I rode 102 miles to deliver bagels to my team of Software Engineers because they missed “Bagel Thursdays” in the office. I’ve also climbed some of the toughest climbs in the US, including Haleakala in Maui, HI, which is an ascent from sea level to over 10,000ft.
